Today I was able to take a 2nd look around Time 4 Learning.
As I browsed around and reviewed the Lessons I really began to see how this could give us more ideas and practice in the areas of Science and Social Studies.
Kirsten did her 1st lesson last night after she finished her book. I piqued her interest as I blogged about the new program. :-)
She really enjoyed it.
Today when I got home from work she was ready to jump on again and do some more of the science lessons.
She completed 2 whole sections and took the quizzes at the end and still wanted to do more.
I've printed out the lesson plans for 1st - 3rd grade to see if we may be able to formulate a plan based on Kirsten's interests. I may see if she wants to try some of the math activities. We have been using IXL for her math practice, but if the math lessons here at Time 4 Learning are anything like the science she did tonight we may well consider canceling the IXL account. Time will tell. We still have 28 days to try it out.
